The Value of Ten Minute Workouts

 

Are you aware that a ten minute workout can help burn fat all day long? This is because they are a form of home fitness routine that uses a level of intensity a bit more powerful than a lengthier routine. They must be limited to only three times a week, however if they are to create an increased metabolic rate and not much more significant changes.

The best format or approach to use for the ten minute workout is the cardio program. It could be a ten minute jog, a session of jumping jacks, a round on a stationary bike, or even an aggressive walk, but the point is to go at it as hard as possible for that prolonged ten minute period. Why would this work? Because the sustained level of intensity asks the heart to work a bit harder, which in turn increases the effects of the routine.

Let’s take an example – someone who would love to do a thirty minute workout only has ten minutes of free time scattered “here and there” throughout their day. They decide that they will find a few intense workout options that can be conquered in the ten minute time span. 

Their first opportunity comes when they have a break during their mid-morning hours. For this segment of home fitness they will run up and down their stairs for the entire ten minute span and then give themselves an additional three or four minutes of walking the steps to serve as a cool down.

The next day they will head out into their neighborhood where they speed walk (without bursting into a run) for the ten minute period. They also follow this routine with a short period of “cool down” walking too. They will do this sort of exercise three or four days each week to get the maximum benefits.
