Run or Interval Training?

When you make the decision to choose a home fitness program, you are most likely looking for two things. Number one, you want to lose weight, and if you are like everyone else, you want to lose it fast. The second reason for a home training program is for muscle toning and building.

If you are looking for one or both of those things, you may want to consider something that you probably have not thought of before. The standard for exercise has been to spend hours on a treadmill or a stationary bike. While this method may be a slow fat burner, people who use it often find that their routine is no longer working. They have to spend even more hours on the machine.

What if you could find a home fitness routine that took fewer hours out of your already busy day? The great news is that there is a new method for burning fat and building muscle that depends on interval training

Interval training is a body-training program that works on the theory that spending bursts of time doing intense cardiovascular workouts with short breaks in between. The reason that this works is that your body never has the time to settle into a routine. You are always keeping it challenged.

You must ask yourself this question: should I spend an hour everyday running on a treadmill, or should I choose an intense workout that takes half the time and has double the results?

The answer seems obvious. When you engage in the same routine every day, your body will get used to it, and you will slow down in your progress. When you choose an at home fitness program that constantly mixes up the workout, you keep your body guessing and you make the most of your fitness session.
